My work explores the discourse within the taboo topic of infertility.

I create conceptually based visual narratives often using rare experimental mediums such as colour infrared film, and fragile super 8 film . Primarily because infrared sees beyond what our societies eyes can. This colour infrared 35mm film turns natural green foliage an unnatural red colour, while digital infrared can turn this foliage light blue. Using infrared gives unpredictable results each time with no guaranteed outcome, much like the infertility process. While using the fragile medium of super 8, which can often get destroyed within the developmental process, one here needs to be mindful of the possibility of breakage, showing the flaws and imperfections within the medium.

My visual narratives tell a story that attempts to turn the Gaze within these narratives back to the viewer in a subversive way.  Link to my website click below -
